Faculty Positions

The search for a new assistant professor in Computer Science has concluded. We are happy to announce that Laszlo Egri will begin starting August 1, 2016. We thank all applicants for their interest in the position.

Faculty searches to be run during the 2016-2017 academic year likely will not be announced until late in the year. An announcement will be posted to this website if there are any searches in the department.

Student Positions

For graduate assistantships, we consider all graduate students in the department. It is not necessary to apply for GA positions, we will make offers to those students we feel are best qualified for a given position. Students looking for positions should regularly check https://jobs.indstate.edu/ for positions. Positions are added to the jobs site throughout the year as they become open. CS majors often are able to secure a position with OIT or with a department that needs a web programmer. Math majors are often able to find positions in the Math and Writing Center.
