Caitlin Brez, Ph.D.

Dr. Brez received her B.A. in psychology from Wake Forest University. She got her M.A. and Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin where she worked with Leslie Cohen, Ph.D. studying infant cognition. After graduating in 2009, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Kansas working with John Colombo, Ph.D.
Dr. Brez teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Developmental Psychology and Research Methods. Her research is focused on understanding how infants and children develop numerical skills, including number discrimination and counting. She also conducts studies involving mathematics education and children's development of mathematical concepts.
