Research Interests

  1. Understanding cognition across the lifespan - Specifically, he examines how the cerebellum helps supports no-motor cognitive processing using non-invasive stimulation (i.e. tDCS) techniques.  Moreover, he looks to understand how changes in the ceerebellum might affect cognitive processing in advanced age.  Dr. Maldonado has also started a new line of work in which he assesses cognition as a buffer against death anxiety.
