How can I become a tutor for the CFSS?
The first step toward becoming a tutor in the CFSS is to consider the following job requirements:
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Desire to help other ISU students.
The benefits of tutoring are quite numerous, but the list provided here should help you decide if you wish to pursue a position with us.
- Beginning pay is $6.50 per hour for undergraduate students.
- Graduate students begin at $7.50 per hour.
- Annual raises.
- Opportunity to work in your major/minor area(s).
- Large window of opportunity for work schedules.
- Tutoring locations are conveniently located on campus.
- Excellent work experience for future employment.

TUTOR APPLICATION
How can I become a SI Leader for the CFSS?
The first step toward becoming an SI Leader in the CFSS is to consider the following job requirements:
- Sophomore standing or higher.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work with ISU faculty to help students.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Desire to help other ISU students.
- Must attend the course in which you are the SI Leader.
- Must hold three hours of SI sessions per week.
The benefits of the SI Program are quite numerous, but the list provided here should help you decide if you wish to pursue a position with us.
- Beginning pay is $800 per semester for first-time SI Leaders, $900 for subsequent semesters.
- Opportunity to work in your major/minor area(s).
- Opportunity to work with a faculty member in an academic discipline.
- Input into times and days that SI sessions are held (around your class schedule).
- SI locations are conveniently located on campus.
- Excellent work experience for future employment.
