Apply for Certificate Completion
Students who expect to complete a certificate during the academic year or subsequent summer must complete and submit an application for certificate completion to the College of Graduate and Professional Studies by the following deadlines:
- February 1 for students completing their certificate requirements in spring (May).
- April 1 for students completing their certificate requirements in summer (August).
- October 1 for students completing their certificate requirements in fall (December).
Requirements
In order to qualify for a certificate, a graduate student must complete all academic program requirements and all College of Graduate and Professional Studies requirements. In addition, the student must submit a completed program/contract of study form, which can be obtained from the student’s academic department.
Please note: Students who earn only a certificate are not eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony.
