Indiana State University: College Challenge Program

For High School Students at Participating High Schools

College Challenge is a special Indiana State University program that enables high school students to earn ISU college credit in courses taught by high school teachers -- at their local high schools.

Courses are arranged within each student's regular schedule (not outside of regular school hours). The student earns high school and college credit simultaneously for each course successfully completed.

This program is available at participating high schools.

Why Participate ?

College Challenge is designed for high school students--typically juniors and seniors--who have adequate preparation and the desire for more advanced work.

The program enables these students to:

Earn college credit (at a reduced rate) and high school credit simultaneously.
Discover an additional intellectual challenge.
Test their ability to do college-level academic work.
Ease the transition from high school to college.
Reduce the duplication of classes that sometimes occurs between the last year of high school and the first year of college.
