BEIT 125 Information in the Electronic Age—3 credits

The focus is on developing information literacy to help students become knowledgeable users of information technology techniques and become aware of business/societal issues related to technology and electronic communication. Students will learn how to locate information electronically, evaluate and analyze information using critical analysis techniques, and communicate information using electronic media.

Note:

This course applies toward completion of all undergraduate degree programs at Indiana State University.

In addition, most public colleges and universities (and some private schools) will accept this course as transfer credit. However, students must contact the admissions office at the appropriate college or university to verify transferability and applicability of this particular course to their intended program of study.
