Information for Educators

Information for Educators

College Challenge is a definite win-win program for high school educators, students, and Indiana State University. While high school juniors and seniors have the chance to earn college credit before graduation day, high school educators have the unique opportunity to enhance their curriculums and careers through more demanding and intellectually challenging coursework. College Challenge was designed to encourage high school educators to engage in professional development in their respective disciplines and areas of study.

Become a College Challenge Instructor

Indiana State University is always welcoming new instructors and high schools to the College Challenge program. If you are interested in teaching college courses or believe that your high school could benefit from the College Challenge program, then we recommend reviewing our enrollment process to becoming an instructor.

News & Announcements

If you are a current College Challenge instructor, please be aware of the following information regarding courses and registration:

  • Courses that College Challenge will sponsor for the 2012-2013 school year have been announced to help you prepare.
  • The registration process for Fall 2012 is deadline driven, and it is critical that all deadlines are met to ensure proper and timely processing of all College Challenge student registrations. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the timeline requirements in advance of the next semester.

Annual Reminders

All high school teachers and ISU department chairs are required to attend an annual summer workshop for certification and accreditation purposes. Details on workshops are sent to teachers by the College Challenge Director. Teachers are paid a stipend for attending the summer workshops to cover travel costs and time of attending the program.

All high school teachers are also required to complete and submit the Academic Renewal Form on an annual basis, beginning Fall 2009.
