Instructor of Chemistry

The Chemistry Department at Indiana State University seeks applications for an instructor position beginning August 15, 2007. Candidates must have an M.S. degree in chemistry or chemistry education. Principal responsibilities will include instruction of freshman-level and general education chemistry laboratories. In addition, the instructor will maintain equipment and computers in the general chemistry laboratories, and work with colleagues to update existing lab manuals and develop new experiments. This position is a nine-month appointment on a three-year renewable contract with a competitive salary and benefits. Opportunities for summer teaching may be available.
