1) Development and testing of laboratory curriculum for entry-level college chemistry courses.

2) Development of curriculum for elementary science to promote constructivist science teaching practices among elementary school teachers.

3) Development and testing of teaching strategies to enhance student problem-solving ability, concept development, and content retention.

4) Development and testing of alternative assessment mechanisms for measuring student achievement.
