The ACS-SA
website provides information about the organization and how you can
get involved. The group holds social activities on a regular basis and sponsors
a variety of outreach activities designed to expand knowledge and interest in
chemistry throughout ISU and the community.
In 2008 the Society of Physics Students (SPS) attained a membership large enough to achieve recognition as an official ISU student organization for the first time in more than a decade. Professor Joe West is group's the faculty advisor. SPS sponsors various activities on campus and in the community to promote knowledge of physics, such as physics demonstrations in local schools.
The Pre-Pharmacy Club aids ISU students in preparing for pharmacy school. See the Pre-Pharmacy Club website for more details and a list of activities and meeting dates.
Chemistry majors
can earn CHEM 495 credit for participation in a chemistry internship.
