Create modules in blackboard

A Module is a window that displays related data and/or links to other content within Blackboard. To create modules, enter your Blackboard course, click on the "+" icon and select Create Module Page.

Enter a name, check Available to Users and click on Submit button.

The module we just created will be shown here. Click on it.

Click on Add Course Module.

Select the modules that you want to have on your homepage.

Click on Submit button.

Now, you can see the modules that you selected appear on the Homepage. Modules exhibit the following behaviors: they can be deleted by clicking the Close button; they can be reordered on the page by dragging and dropping the module header with the mouse; they can be minimized (shrunk down to only display the header area), using the minimize indicator; they can be opened in a new window by clicking the Open in New Window button.

If you want to choose these modules as the first displayed page when you enter the course, you need to change your Entry Point as Homepage. To do this, click on Customization in Control Panel and select Style.

Change the Entry Point to Homepage.

Click on Submit button.
