The items in the Grade Center are created in two different methods: 1. Directly created in Grade Center by clicking on Create Column on the Grade Center page.

This type of items can be deleted by clicking on the down arrow button next to the item title, and select Delete Column option.


2. When you create a test or an assignment, the system will automatically create an item in the Grade Center. Clicking on the down arrow buttons of these items, you cannot see the Delete Column option in the menu.

To delete this type of items, you should delete the original tests or assignments associated with these items. Firstly, go to the place where the test and assignment located and delete it. For example, we deleted this assignment under the Assignments area.

Go back to the Grade Center, and click on the down arrow button next to this assignment. Now we can see the Delete Column option. To delete this item we can simply click on it.

Click on OK button.

You will receive a message saying that you have successfully deleted this column.
