How to Download Files from Your Webspace

I strongly recommend you to create a folder first to store the downloaded file in case you cannot find it after downloading. Let’s create a folder on desktop.

 

Click to open Secure File Transfer Client.

 

Click on Quick Connect.

 

Enter Host Name( isu.indstate.edu or faculty.indstate.edu or thoth.indstate.edu), User name is your Sycamore ID. Select Authentication Method as Password. Then click on Connect.

 

Enter your Sycamore Login password.

 

Click on public_html folder to open it.

Locate the folder that we just created to store the downloaded file, click to open it.

Select all your files, right click and select Download.

Now, your files have been downloaded to the right folder.
