How to download and install lockdown browser

On the OIT Download page, click on Blackboard Plugins.

 

Click on Respondus LockDown Browser.

 

On the new page, click on Login.

 

Enter you Sycamore ID and password, then click on Login.

Click on Click Here or Help in the red circles to start the download process. Do not click the "Download Now" link.

Select the operating system that you are using: PC or Mac

 

Select the type of computer you are using.

 

If you select Work Computer, you may receive this warning. Ignore it and select a Server: Server 1 or Server 2.

A new window pops up, click on Save.

Select a location where you want to download the file in your local computer, then click on Save button. 

Click on Run to install Lockdown Browser.

If you are using Internet Explorer, a Security Warning may pop up. Click on Run button.

Click on the button in the red circle.

Click on Next.

Check "I accept the items of the license agreement" and then click on Next.

Click on Next.

Click on Install.

Wait while the system is processing.

Click on Finish.

Now, you should be able to find Lockdown Browser icon on your desktop.
