Before you upload HLTM pages into your Blackboard site, you need to pack all HTML pages and source images to a zip file. Then, login Blackboard and go to the content area you wish to use to display the HTML pages. In this example, the zip file contains two HTML pages (index.htm and page2.htm) and source images. I've created a folder called "Learning Modules" in the content area for displaying this zip file. Be sure Edit mode is On. Select Create Item button to begin the process of adding your new pre-built HTML pages.

Provide an appropriate label for the index page, and write a brief description of what the user will find by visiting the link.

Select "Browse" button to attach a Local File (e.g., ***.zip)

Browse your local computer to find the file, then click on the Open button.

After attaching your local file, providing a meaningful name for the
link that users will be clicking
on. Then choose a special action to unzip the contents of the zip
file. In the Special Action chooser, select "Unpackage
this file" so that Blackboard will "unzip" the
bundle of HTML files you will be uploading when you submit the item.

Click Submit button to create item.

After Blackboard has finished uploading and unpacking the zip file it will ask you to
identify the index page people will go to when they click on the starting
link provided. In this example, index.htm is the entry point of this
zip file. Scroll through the list of files until you locate
"index.htm" and select it. You may also wish to indicate that
HTML pages will launch in a new browser window.

When you are ready, click Submit button.

Here is a screenshot of the resulting content item (with Edit mode turned Off). When students click on the provided link, they will launch the index HTML page.

Within the index HTML page, click on Page 2 link to connect to another page.
