Login into your Blackboard, then scroll down to Control Panel which is in the left bottom. Click on Course Tools and select Tests, Surveys, and Pools.

 

And then you will be directed to a page as shown below. Select Tests to build a test.

 

Click Build Test button.

 

Enter a Name and a Description for the test.

 

Enter instructions if needed.

 

Click Submit button.

 

On Test Canvas page, click on the Reuse Question button and select Create Random Block option.

Then you will be directed to Add/Edit Random Block page. Select a pool which you want to import questions from. The number in the parenthesis means the number of questions in the pool.

Select question types by checking the check boxes. Set Number of questions to import and Points per question up.

Click on the Import button.

Double check if you have set up correctly. Then click on the OK button.
