If you cannot find a tool in your course site, probably because this tool is unavailable. To make a tool available, you need go to Control Panel click on Customization and select Tool Availability.

 

The Tool availability page allows you to control what tools to be used and which user have access to those tools.

 

To make a tool available, find the tool then check the check boxes next to it.

 

Click on Submit to save your work.

 

Similarly, if you do not use a tool, you can make it unavailable simply by unchecking the check boxes next to the tool.
