Once the test has been created, from the Control Panel, click on Course Tools.

Click on Tests, Surveys, and Pools.

Click on the Tests link.

You will notice that the test is listed, along with the date of creation. However, the test has not been deployed to the course yet.

You will have to decide where the test will be placed. Remember that wherever you see Create Test button in the Evaluate drop-down menu, you can create a test. Once you have located where you would like to place the test, click on the Create Test button.

You will now see the Add Test dialogue box.  If you have already created a test, you will merely select it from the text box area. If you have not created the test, you may do so at this time.

Since we have already created the test, all we need to do is highlight the test. Make sure that the test name changes colors.

After the test is selected, or highlighted, click the Submit button.

You have successfully added a test.  Then you have the option to modify the test.

There are 6 sections. The first section is Test Information, including name and description. A unique name will help identify the quiz both in delivering the quiz and in the Grade Center. It is also helpful for students if you include a short description and concise instruction for the quiz.

The second option is Test Availability. It allows you to set the test window, time limit, and number of attempts you will permit. If you set up date restrictions, make sure to set up both start date and end date and you should select the date through calendar rather than enter it manually.

The third section is Self-assessment Options. Make sure you check "Include this Test in Grade Center Score Calculations" if you want to have the test score counted into the final grade calculation.

Section four is focused on Test Feedback. As a note, if you do not include feedback when the test questions are created, there will be no feedback displayed to the student.

Section five covers how the test will be presented (Test Presentation), whether or not the students can re-visit questions, and whether or not the test will be presented in a random order.

After you have set all of your chosen options, press the Submit button.

The test has now been added to your Blackboard Course.
