taking a test or quiz in blackboard

To take a test or quiz in Blackboard, logon to http://blackboard.indstate.edu, select from my courses on the left menu.

Click on the content area (e.g. Assignments) where the test/quiz is located. Your instructor should have told you where to access the test/quiz using the navigation buttons of the course.

Click on the test that you would like to take.

It will ask for confirmation. Click Begin button to continue or Cancel button to go back and choose again.

Click Begin button you will see the name of the test, instructions, if any, for the test and number of points you earn for each question on the right hand side. Depending on how your instructor set up the test/quiz, you can save the test and resume later or some tests force you to complete the test in one instance. You should double check with your instructor if it has not been made clear before you take the test/quiz.

Click on Save and Submit button after you are done.

After you click Save and Submit button, it will prompt you with a confirmation. Click OK button to continue or click Cancel button to go back to test.

After you click OK button you will see the information below.

Click OK to review results.

You will see the Name, Status and Score of the test you have taken.

Click OK button to return to the home page.
