How to upload files to your webspace

Return to tutorial list

Click to open Secure File Transfer Client.

 

Click on Quick Connect.

 

Enter Host Name sapphire.indstate.edu, User name is your Sycamore ID. Select Authentication Method as Password. Then click on Connect.

 

Enter your Sycamore Login password.

 

Click on public_html folder to open it.

 

Locate your folder, click to open it.

Select all your files right click and select Upload.

Now, your files have been uploaded to public_html folder and the bottom of the window shows “Connected to sapphire.indstate.edu”

To view your page, go to the web site: http://sapphire.indstate.edu/~username

Username = your own username

Make sure you include the tilde ~ before your username.
