New Faculty Orientation

Welcome to Indiana State University! As you start your career at Indiana State University we would like to provide you with some helpful guides and information to assist in making this transition easier.

The first and most important step is to sign and return your letter of acceptance. Other than confirming that you do intend to join us, your signed letter is needed to begin processing your information for payroll, benefits, insurance, e-mail, parking permit, and other things that will make your life easier. Please send your signed letter of acceptance well before your starting date. It will take a few days to process your letter of acceptance, and until it has been processed you will not be able to activate e-mail, get your ID, purchase a parking permit or much of anything else.

The rest of this site is divided into four parts:

  1. things to do and read as you consider a career with ISU,
  2. what you can do after your letter of acceptance has been submitted and processed,
  3. help in finding the information you need once you start your career at ISU, and
  4. the New Faculty Orientation Program.
