There are always key offices you need to know. Of course, the first ones you will come to know will be your department's and your Dean's office. But as you become a member of the ISU community, you will begin to explore and visit other offices. This is a short list of some of the offices you may visit.
Affirmative Action/Diversity - The office provides leadership in supporting and enhancing campus diversity and an inclusive community, as well as developing, implementing and monitoring the ISU affirmative action plan and non-discrimination policy and procedures. Office of Strategic Planning, Institutional Research and Effectiveness - The Office of Strategic Planning, Institutional Research and Effectiveness (OSPIRE) is comprised of five related, but separate, functions: strategic planning, institutional research, assessment, reporting, and institutional effectiveness.
Office of the Controller - The Office of the Controller is comprised of four divisions: Bursar Operations, Financial Accounting, Grants & Contracts, and Payroll Office.
Office of the President - The site for the President's office showcases some of the accomplishments of ISU and provides links to the Commission of Higher Education and other governing bodies.
Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs - The links on this page will provide you with information about the curriculum, programs, and services that are available through the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
