ThinkPad Maintenance: Changing Your Passwords

Set or Change Your Laptop User Name or Password

  1. Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel.

  1. In the Control Panel window, click User Accounts.

  1. In the User Accounts window, click to select your user account.

  1. In the User Accounts window, click Change my name or Change my password.

  1. Complete the text boxes and click the Change Password or Change Name button.

Change Your Sycamore Login Password

  1. Open your web browser, go to http://myisu.indstate.edu and login using your Sycamore Login.

  1. Among your tabs, click  Faculty, Employee, or Student (depending on what is available).

  1. In the Quick Links section, click Change Your Password.

  1. Complete the text boxes and click the Change Password button.

NOTE: Changing your Sycamore Login password will also change your ISU Novell network password. Faculty GroupWise account passwords will also be changed.

  1. Logout of your MyISU account to protect your information.
