Microsoft Office Name

You can set all Microsoft Office programs to use one user name for all files you create. When you send a file to someone, it will show you as the author. To set or change the user information of all Microsoft Office documents:

  1. Go to Start, All Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Excel.

  1. Go to the Tools menu and choose Options.

  1. Click the General tab.
  2. In the User name field, type in your name.

  1. You can also set the default file location. This is the folder that all Microsoft programs will save files in when you click Save. Click OK to finish.
