Multimedia Design Services

The graphic designers within the Center for Instruction, Research, and Technology offer a range of design services to faculty and staff. The graphic designers will work closely with faculty in the development of both print and electronic design materials for instructional use to enhance classroom and Web-based learning environments. Designers are also available to work one-on-one with faculty to create multimedia projects such as interactive presentations, two-dimensional animations for classroom instruction, and illustrations for faculty publications. CIRT also supports academic departments with the creation of traditional print media for University and community events.

Guidelines and Timeline for Submitting Project

For the majority of illustrations, conference posters, and promotional design projects, MD would like at least two-three weeks to complete the design and proofing process, printing, and finishing. Depending upon the scope of the project, additional time may be necessary. Interactive media and animation requests typically need more than two weeks. Shorter turnaround times can be accommodated, but not guaranteed. The more time allowed for the design process equals a better quality finished product.

Please see our complete set of guidelines and tips for submitting projects.

We encourage faculty and staff to set up an appointment with one of our graphic designers to discuss project needs, deadline, or to learn more about our design services.
