Instructional Design Services

The instructional design staff of the Center for Instruction, Research, and Technology offer a range of services to faculty members at Indiana State University.

• Online course development and support - From the initial planning stages our staff will work with you to develop your online course. We use the Blackboard Learning System to create individual components that could be used to supplement a classroom course. We also can work with faculty members to create a fully online course.  Online Course Development Policies.
• Online Pedagogy Series - This seminar series is offered each semester for faculty who are new to the online classroom. Blending sound pedagogical approaches with appropriate uses of technology, we assist you in creating an engaging online course.
• Individual consultation sessions - The Instructional Design Specialists can provide consultations and training on a one-on-one, on-time basis to assist faculty and staff.
