The Student Technology Resource Center (STRC) is a facility
which provides a technology-focused environment to meet the
multimedia development needs of students on ISU's campus. The
STRC is aligned with the Student IT Training Program to offer
more opportunities for students to build technology-related skills.
Student Training Assistants provide support in the STRC for those
students who need assistance with multimedia projects. Workshops
are also held in the center.
The available resources include; 12 PCs,
scanners, digital video editing equipment and software, and multimedia and
statistical software.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of this facility located in the College of Education, room 119.
The center is opened from 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. Monday-Friday. Closed on all University holidays.
The facility is self-service and there are no charges for use or output, except for printing. Students must bring their own storage media (DVD-R, CD-R, CD-RW, or flash drive). The Center cannot provide blank video tapes, compact discs, or mini-DVDs for projects.
