Student IT Training Program

To supplement information technology skills, CIRT offers several options to Indiana State students to gain additional computing and software expertise.

Instruction-led Workshops

These short, hands-on, free computer lab classes are offered over the course of the school year. Most are held on afternoons with topics covering Microsoft Office, multimedia, graphic, statistical, or web development products.

Self-Study Tutorials

Don't have time to attend an instructor-led class? Work your way through one of our self-study tutorials. Pick the module you need or choose the whole course. Practice files and quick start guides are also available. NOTE: Tutorials and practice files are accessible from on campus only.

Computer-based Training

CIRT has contracted with the Makau Corporation to provide self-paced computer-based training (CBT), available to all ISU students, faculty, and staff. These are movies that you can view.

Student Technology Resource Center

The Student Technology Resource Center (STRC) is a facility which provides a technology-focused environment to meet the multimedia development needs of students on ISU's campus. The ATRC is aligned with the Student IT Training Program to offer more opportunities for students to build technology related skills.
