Dr. Winkle is an expert on crisis management, a former instructor at West Point, and a national consultant and trainer to numerous groups and organizations including the U.S. military and a wide range of public and private sector organizations.
The focus of the workshop is on leading in turbulent times. Issues of school safety and security will be explored (bomb threats, acts of school violence, responding to dangerous persons/predators and injury to students/school personnel among other timely issues. The workshop will include issues of dealing with law enforcement and the media at crisis times and proactive steps that can be taken to manage risk, including through the hiring process.
Cost: $150 or $140 if 3 or more from one district.
Space is limited to ensure a high quality experience so early registration
is encouraged.
