at Indiana State University continues a 141-year tradition as
the foremost institution for educator preparation in Indiana.
More than 680 undergraduate (including secondary education
programs) and 750 graduate students are enrolled in NCATE, APA,
ASHA, and CACREP accredited or NASP approved academic and
licensure programs for teachers, counselors, speech/language
pathologists, media specialists, school and higher education
leaders, and educational and school psychologists, with doctoral
programs in curriculum and instruction, administration,
counseling psychology, and school psychology. A faculty of
54 organized into 4 departments is supported by 21 research and
service units and more than $3.8M in external grants.
