Welcome from the Dean
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome. On behalf of the College of Education at Indiana State University (ISU) I wish you warm greetings. For more than 135 years, the College has played a major role in the preparation of teachers, counselors, school administrators, and other human service professionals. The North Central Association - Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA-CASI) has an equally robust history, providing accreditation and school improvement support for more than 110 years. ISU is proud to partner with Indiana's NCA-CASI and remains dedicated to the teaching and learning needs of our K-12 colleagues.
As partners in school improvement, ISU and Indiana's NCA-CASI now offer graduate credit for the fall and spring conferences and for chairing external and internal teams. Several Indiana teachers and administrators are taking advantage of that option as they engage in these important professional development opportunities.
