Graduate Program
Graduate studies in the Department of Communication includes General Communication.

These programs share a concern with the process of communication as explored from artistic, humanistic, and/or scientific points of view. The graduate faculty bring a wide variety of backgrounds and scholarly interests to the program.
The program provides:
- Skills and experiences in asking significant questions about communication and in gathering and processing information to answer these questions
- An integrated perspective on the relations among various areas of study in communication, and
- Analytical and critical tools for competent specialization which will lead to either confident entrance into the profession or further graduate study
