Dr. Tsay earned her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2003 and 2005, respectively. The results of her research are widely published in referred journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, all in the area of Knowledge Discovery in Databases and Intelligent Information Systems. Dr. Tsay is the co-editor of "Advances in Intelligent Information Systems" in Springer's Studies in Computational Intelligence book series. She was Program Chair of several international conferences. She has served and is currently serving on the program committee of several international conferences. She is a member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Data Mining, Modelling and Management.
