Mrs. Hua Liu,
Completed her PhD at
Indiana State University in Summer 2007
Hua Liu got her bachelor and
master degree from Wuhan University, P.R. China. She started her
Ph.D. degree since August 2003 in Indiana State University,
United States. Her research interest focuses on the application
of remote sensing and geographic information systems in natural
environment management. Her dissertation is to examine the
relationship between landscape pattern and land surface
temperatures in three cities: Chicago, Illinois, Houston, Texas,
and Indianapolis, Indiana. |

Mr. Xuefei Hu,
Currently undergoing his PhD at
Indiana State University
Xuefei got his B.S. and M.S. degree from China
University of
Geosciences, Wuhan, China. He start his PHD. program in
Indiana State
University in 2004. His research interests include:
Artificial
Neural Network, impervious surface estimation, and urban
environment. |

Mr. Umamaheshwaran Rajasekar
Currently undergoing his
PhD at Indiana State University
Rajasekar
Umamaheshwaran received the engineering degree in Civil
engineering and Construction management from Center for
Environmental Planning & Technology (CEPT University),
Gujarat, India (2002) and MSc degree in Geoinformatics from ITC
International Institute for Geo-Information Science and
Earth Observation, Enschede, The Netherlands (2005). He then
worked as a GIS engineer for RMS India in their
spatial modeling team (2005-06). His main research interest are in
the field of spatial data mining, event modeling/
analysis,
geo-databases and soft computing. |
