Individuals may register for a variety of ISU distance courses - without enrolling in a degree or certificate program.
Register for one (or more) courses as a non-degree student and earn credit for professional development or continuing education -- including license renewal.
Credit earned may be transferred to another institution or applied toward an ISU degree or program (if applicable).
Prior to enrolling, individuals should contact Education Student Services (at right) if they have questions regarding course applicability for their particular career goals.
Important! Pre-approval by Education Student Services (at right) is required before enrolling in any course intended to be used for Indiana license renewal.

The University offers a limited number of undergraduate anthropology courses via distance learning. A variety of undergraduate and graduate anthropology courses are offered on the ISU campus.
Art
The University offers a limited number of undergraduate art courses via distance learning. A variety of undergraduate and graduate art courses are offered on the ISU campus.
Biology
The University offers a limited number of undergraduate biology courses via distance learning. A variety of undergraduate and graduate biology courses are offered on the ISU campus.
Business
The University offers a variety of undergraduate distance courses in: accounting; business; business education, information and technology; insurance; management; and marketing. In addition, undergraduate and graduate courses are offered on the ISU campus.
Computer Science
The University offers a limited number of undergraduate computer science courses via distance learning. A variety undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science are offered on the ISU campus.
Criminology
The University offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate criminology courses via distance learning. In addition, undergraduate and graduate criminology courses are offered on the ISU campus.
Economics
The University offers a limited number of undergraduate economics courses via distance learning. In addition, undergraduate and graduate economics courses are offered on the ISU campus.
