Distance Programs

ELAF 608 School and Society -- 3 credit hours

Education in relation to the school-community environment, with special attention being given to educational research and literature which focuses on the family and the school, peer groups and the school, and the school as a social system. Special attention is also given to ethnic minority groups in historical perspective and in their impact on and contribution to the school community.

Delivery: Internet (Web)

Scheduling: This is a three-hour, semester-based course, with starting periods in the summer semester.



Prior to enrolling, individuals should contact Education Student Services if they have questions regarding course applicability for their particular career goals. Pre-approval by Education Student Services is required before enrolling in any course intended to be used for Indiana license renewal.
