Distance Programs

ELAF 650 Foundations of Educational Leadership -- 3 credit hours

Emphasis on theories of leadership, management aspects of leadership, vision building, professional ethics, working with groups, educational program development, and the political, social, cultural, and legal aspects related to educational leadership.

Delivery: Web (Internet); includes several required on-campus Saturday sessions

Scheduling: This is a three-hour, semester-based course, with starting periods in the fall semester.

Prior to enrolling, individuals should contact Education Student Services if they have questions regarding course applicability for their particular career goals. Pre-approval by Education Student Services is required before enrolling in any course intended to be used for Indiana license renewal.
