ELED 595B Topics in Education: Kindergarten Endorsement -- 3 credit hours

This three-hour graduate course is open to teachers holding an elementary degree who would like to add kindergarten as a separate license. The hours obtained from successful completion of this course may also be used for continuing education hours.

DELIVERY: Internet (Web); no campus visits required

OPEN TO: In-state (Indiana) and out-of-state students

SCHEDULING: This is a three-hour semester-based course, with starting periods in the Fall semester.

NOTE: This course will consist of self-paced lessons. Participants will learn about important theorists in the field of child development, understand Indiana Academic Standards for kindergarten, and apply their knowledge base to create a developmentally appropriate integrated theme study to demonstrate mastery of the required skills for kindergarten endorsement.
