Special Announcement: Call for IPSE Awards Nominations
The Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System
(IHETS) is pleased to announce the first IPSE Awards for
Innovative Teaching and Instructional Support.
Through these awards, the Indiana Partnership for Statewide
Education seeks to continue its work in encouraging faculty
and staff creativity in applying technology to teaching and
learning at Indiana institutions of higher education. This
recognition will also showcase the excellent work achieved
at member institutions in supporting the work of innovative
faculty.
IPSE will make three awards in 2002, one each for:
- Use of technology in a distance learning program
- Use of technology in a campus-based environment
- Effective instructional support for teaching and learning
Awards will be in the amount of $1,000 each for recipients
to further their professional development or technology
base.
Nominations may be submitted online and are due by 3:00 p.m.
EST on Friday, March 8, 2002. Nominations will be reviewed
by the IPSE Faculty Services Team, with awards presented at
the April 3 All Partners Conference at Indiana University
Bloomington.

The form is not complicated, so act soon to help recognize
some of the outstanding faculty and support staff you know.
