Special Announcement: Call for IPSE Awards Nominations

The Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS) is pleased to announce the first IPSE Awards for Innovative Teaching and Instructional Support.

Through these awards, the Indiana Partnership for Statewide Education seeks to continue its work in encouraging faculty and staff creativity in applying technology to teaching and learning at Indiana institutions of higher education. This recognition will also showcase the excellent work achieved at member institutions in supporting the work of innovative faculty.

IPSE will make three awards in 2002, one each for:

  • Use of technology in a distance learning program
  • Use of technology in a campus-based environment
  • Effective instructional support for teaching and learning

Awards will be in the amount of $1,000 each for recipients to further their professional development or technology base.

Nominations may be submitted online and are due by 3:00 p.m. EST on Friday, March 8, 2002. Nominations will be reviewed by the IPSE Faculty Services Team, with awards presented at the April 3 All Partners Conference at Indiana University Bloomington.

Criteria for each award and nomination form are at:
