ISU DISTANCE ENROLLMENTS: SPRING 2006 At Indiana State University, Spring 2006 enrollments in semester-based distance courses totaled 3,808 at the 7-day count. This represents a 6.4% increase over Spring 2005 enrollments of 3,637 -- and a record high for distance learning at Indiana State University. With the instructor's permission, ISU students now have the option of purchasing DVDs of specific televised courses. DVDs are mailed the day following the class session, with delivery (usually) in one to two days. Cost (including shipping):

Effective Spring 2006, the University's Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Instructional and Research Technology Services (IRTS) merged into a single service unit called the Center for Instruction, Research, and Technology (CIRT). This new unit is designed to present a cohesive and comprehensive face for faculty professional growth and research support for Indiana State University. The staff will continue to offer the same quality programming as in the past. In fact, with this new synergy of professional development staff, the goal is offer many new opportunities.
