The graduate certificate in human resource development is designed to meet the needs of professionals who seek formal education in the human resource development field.
Students who complete the 12-credit-hour certificate in human resource development have the knowledge to provide essential human resource development services in industry, higher education, social agencies, and government. Competencies designed into the program focus on designing, developing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating education, training, and other human resource development activities.
The program also introduces graduate study in human resource development to students who may be contemplating enrollment in the master's in human resource development, or can be used as a specialization for another major at the graduate level. Credits from the certificate program may be applied to the master's in human resource development, offered via distance learning.

Delivery
All courses in the Human Resource Development Program are offered on-line (via
the Internet).
Admission Requirements
Applicants across the globe are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must offer proof of a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science
degree and an acceptable grade point average from an accredited college or
university. The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is not required.
International applicants should have a TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper) or
213 (computer) or 70 (iBT) or better on the Test of English as a Foreign
Language, or provide equivalent evidence of language proficiency.

Submit to the School of Graduate Studies a fully completed Non-Degree
Admission Application (below) with a non-refundable admission application
fee of $35.00 payable by credit card, money order, or check payable to Indiana
State University.
Submit to School of Graduate Studies official transcripts from a regionally accredited institution. International applicants also must submit official scores for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or provide equivalent evidence of language proficiency. Non-Degree Admission: Once admitted, students receive a Sycamore login and password (via regular postal service) for the MyISU Portal. The Portal offers access to online registration, University records, and other important University services, including e-mail, and University announcements.
