Diversity

Welcome

One of the major purposes of this office is to assist faculty, staff and students in conflict when you believe you have been treated unfairly. Certain kind of unfairness, such as being treated badly or wrongly because of your race or ethnicity, your gender or sexual orientation, your religion, marital status or pregnancy are prohibited by law.

That means you can get help resolving those problems under the policy and procedures implemented by the Office of Diversity and Affirmative Action (ODAA). Learn more about your rights and responsibilities as an employee or a student.

If it appears discrimination may have occurred, you can work with this department to get assistance.

If it isn't prohibited under the criteria of the law, Diversity & Affirmative action will help you understand what other paths can be taken to solve the problem.

Be a good advocate for yourself and get expert help when you feel you have been treated unfairly.
