Faculty Services

The Blumberg Center supports ISU faculty in research, education, and service aligned with the Center mission through a variety of services, outlined below. 

Program Professional Development Funds are awarded to member programs for use to advance the education and research efforts of the program.  Funds are awarded at the beginning of each academic year.

Topical Series consists of workshops, trainings, audio-conferences, and topical sessions that are held on campus for the local community, ISU faculty and students.  Please feel free to suggest topics which would be of interest to you and your students.  

Guest presentations are available, upon request, by Center and Project staff.  Please feel free to contact us for class presentations, resources, and/or materials.

Faculty Travel Program Funds are available to faculty in the departments of Communication Disorders, Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology; and Elementary, Early, and Special Education to support travel to professional conferences.  The guidelines and application forms are available in the Blumberg Center office.  These documents are also available as downloads:

Faculty Research Grant Program provides grant dollars for faculty research projects that are designed to advance education, service, or knowledge related to the Center’s mission. Interdisciplinary projects are encouraged and given preference in the review process.  The guidelines and application forms are available in the Blumberg Center office.  These documents are also available as downloads:
