Non-Degree Certification Applications and Admissions

Non-Degree Licensed Clinical Mental Health Certification Program
Application and Admissions

Students will be admitted on a selective basis upon application to the College of Graduate and Professional Studies and the Department of Counseling. Applicants are required to be graduates of a 48-hour counseling program (M.A., M.S., or M.Ed.) and to have been in good standing with their degree granting institutions at the time of graduation. Documentation of their pre-degree and any post-degree supervised clinical experience is required. Recommendations are also required from post-degree clinical supervisors.

All material should be uploaded with your application to the Graduate Studies.

  2. Application fee. 
  3. A copy of your VITA 
  4. A letter stating why you wish to apply to the non-degree certificate program 
  5. A recommendation letter from your current clinical supervisor. 
  6. If your application is favorably reviewed, we will contact you to schedule an interview 
     

Applications will be evaluated as they are received. Once a student is accepted, an appointment will be scheduled with the director of the masters program in Mental Health Counseling for development of an individualized program of study.
