Indiana State University and the Bayh College of Education have a long and valued tradition of working with schools and practitioners to provide rich experiences for our pre-service teachers and pre-service practitioners. The Bayh College of Education values the support the local schools provide and wished to assure the relationship between ISU and partnering schools was an equitable one where all stakeholders were equally served.

To that end, the Indiana State University Professional Development School Partnership (PDS) began. The objective of the project is to not only provide field experiences for ISU students, but the university reciprocates by providing quality support to the schools in terms of students who can provide assistance in the classrooms and students who can help positively impact learning among the PDS partner schools.
