research OPPORTUNITIES & SCHOLARSHIPS

Research opportunities exist at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  The programs encourage interdisciplinary research projects and maintain collaborative relationships with faculty from other departments and universities as well as with government agencies and private industries.  State-of-the-art equipment and laboratories are available for student use.  We offer a number of undergraduate scholarships and graduate teaching assistantships.  Travel support is also available for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research at professional meetings.
