The Department of Earth and Environmental Systems houses two geospatial analysis computer laboratories, both of which provide students access to the latest versions of ArcGIS, Erdas Imagine, and ENVI/IDL, along with the standard suite of productivity software.
The Geographic Information Systems teaching and research lab has 14 Dell Optiplex GX270 workstations, a CalComp Drawingboard 2 Digitizing Table, and color and black-and-white printing as well. The Remote Sensing teaching and research lab has 11 Dell Optiplex GX280 workstations and color and black-and-white printing capabilities, focusing on providing advanced undergraduate and graduate students the space and software access to complete research projects. The department also maintains a large-format full-color plotter, a HP DesignJet 5000 series 46" model.
