September 2007 Pacific Coast, San Diego, California- Collected sediment samples for analysis of Benthic organisms at three (3) sites off the coast of San Diego/La Jolla.
April 2008 Madison, Indiana- Collected marine fossils from the Early to Late Ordovician Period
April 2008 St. Francois Mountains, Farmington, Missouri- Studied Igneous/Metamorphic petrology of volcanic mountain ranges.
June/July 2008 Northern Gerlache / Southern Bransfield Straits, Antarctica- Collected sediment samples for analysis of benthic organisms at seven (7) sites off the coast of Antarctica.
August 2008 Terre Haute, Indiana- Conducted data collection on Lichens to develop a proxy record of the local area.
September 2008 Jasonville, Indiana- Collected Dendrochronological core samples for research analysis.

March 2010 Terre Haute, Indiana- Conducted core sampling and obtained soil samples for geochemical analysis at the development site of the future Vigo County Riverscape Wetlands Reserve.
July/August 2010 Astoria, Oregon- Participated in a 14-day research cruise studying cold methane seep marine environments off the coast of Oregon.
October 2010 Terre Haute, Indiana- studied the Geoarchaeological stratigraphy of the Vigo County area at various sites throughout the area.
March 2011 Mitchell, Indiana- collected water samples from Spring Mills cave site to analyze the amount of carbonate dissolution within the water system.
March 2011 Indiana State University- led a group of undergraduate students in the collection soil samples to conduct geochemical analysis for environmental impacts.
March 2011 Cagles Mill, Putnamville, Indiana- assisted Dr. Tony Rathburn instructing a group of undergraduates in completing a geologic reconstruction history/ depositional environment study of sedimentary rock layers from the Mississippian and Pennsylvanian Periods.
April 2011 Madison, Indiana- assisted Dr. Tony Rathburn instructing a group of undergraduates in the collection of marine fossils from the Early to Late Ordovician Period.
May 2011 Green Valley Coal Mine, West Terre Haute, Indiana- collected water samples from an acid mine drainage ditch in order to analyze contamination levels of the water.
July 2011 San Diego, California- Participated in an 8-day cruise studying the effects of sediment sizes on the presence of Trochammina spp. Inhabiting a depth transect between San Diego, California and Santa Barbara, California.
August 2011 Astoria, Oregon- Participated in a 8-day research cruise studying cold methane seep marine environments off the coast of Oregon.
September 2011 Terre Haute, Indiana- Conducted core sampling and obtained soil samples for geochemical analysis and tree cores for dendrochronological analysis at the development site of the future Wabashiki State Fish and Wildlife Area.

February 2009- Mentored two (2) Jr. High School students participating in the Sectional
March 2009 Science Olympiad Competition in the field of Paleontology.
