English Department Initiates the Landini Memorial Speaker Series

The Department of English at Indiana State University will launch a new series of lectures and readings named in honor of past-president of ISU and Department of English Professor, Richard Landini. The Landini Memorial Speaker Series will feature talks by faculty and visiting scholars on subjects related to literature, writing, and the English language. Programs will occur once a month during each spring and fall semester. Each presentation will be in Root Hall A-264 at 3:30 p.m. with refreshments and coffee prior to the program.

The spring semester schedule for the Landini Memorial Speaker Series continues on April 10 at 3:30 in Root A-264 with a talk and reading by Professor Nan McEntire--"Verbal and Visual Tall Tales: The Art of Exaggeration."

The Landini Memorial Speaker Series replaces the Always on Friday series which ran from the 1960's till fall of 2007. Always on Friday was the longest running colloquium series at Indiana State University.
